Nairobi National Park

Nairobi National Museum

Karen Blixen Museum

Bomas of Kenya
The Bomas of Kenya is a cultural centre and a tourist village located a few minutes outside the CBD. At Bomas different aspects of Kenyan culture are displayed including living styles, crafts, music and dancing. Bomas is a Swahili word for an enclosed homestead. Nairobi Gallery
Nairobi Gallery is an incredible collection of diverse art with the City Center. The gallery is located within the central business district and it is easily accessible by Uhuru highway and Kenyatta Avenue as it is located at the intersection of the two roads. The gallery operates daily from 8.30am to 5.30pm. It represents one of the few places in Kenya that can boast of such a richly diverse collection of artworks from all over African, from pre-colonial works of contemporary artists.

Syokimau Railway Station
About 5 minutes from our homestay lies Nairobi’s most unique railway station, the Syokimau railway station. Find the underlying story behind the Syokimau Railway station. Take a train adventure to Nairobi CBD at a very small price of Ksh.30 or so. It is also a great way to escape the traffic in the ever hectic Mombasa Road. The train leaves Syokimau to Nairobi at 0650hrs and 0905hrs and then departs Nairobi to Syokimau at 0805hrs, 1750hrs and 1950hrs.
